Black Relationships : Does Love At First Sight Really Exist?

I would say that rather than Love at first "sight"...maybe Love at first "encounter" (?) would be a better way to put it. I would say that its highly unlikely that outside of lust a person could genuinely "love" a person at the initial sighting. However, I do believe that after having a bonafide initial encounter with another person; (ie: first date, great conversation etc, etc) the seeds of Love can begin to blossom and grow from there. So...at first "sight"? I would say highly unlikely.

Perhaps, that could apply on both sides. We have been together 16 years, I think that stands for something.

this person who you first see. would you give them your car? would you co sign their mortgage? on first sight?
IMO : love is based on performance. actions speak louder than words. i got to see action.
