I will tell you why. China's industries are already mostly nationalized or "socialized". The US is borrwoing money FROM China. As the Chinese also re-invest in their own markets and estrict credits, credit restriction become tighter here because they have less borrowing power.

In other words China has this country by the "balls" and is tightening its grip, financially. The Chinese quickly leanred how neo-colonialism worked and outmaneuvered the capitalists at their own game. Finance capitalism while increasing manufacturing potential and capability. Notice how white folks now talking about when did america become "socialist"? The Chinese are pushing this ountry into the point of if it is to remain competitive then it must transform because "capitalism" is hemmoraging as it goes from monopoly capitalism to state capitalism in transition to state socialism with a handfull of finance monopolists.

GM is collapsing as is a major part of the auto industry? Why? While McCain and Obama argue over energy independence the real issue affecting the consumer marketplace is one of energy EFFICIENCY. Quite simple. Chinese and other Asian automakers are making more efficient automobiles.

I been saying for a long time now to watch that HSIX. China's markets have been getting rocked but it has far more growth potential that the US financial sectors.

I dont know about bears and bulls but this "jacka.." that symbolized the Democratic Party is essentially a det horse that the Repubs are trying to beat but they themselves are some memory-deficient elephants farting dust recalling war stories and thinking back to the cowboy era of "Maverick".

Meanwhile the Dow down another 8579 and my only concern today is where I will cash a long awaited payroll check!

up and down flow is the illusion
i do see the eventual goal being one world government or one world standard set by many, yes we have that some today

i know amerikkka or these other countries are not going to go under because of their respective stock markets their are too many common people who sustain the economy without the help of these markets
markets are innuendo of sorts
what i beg to offer is it's all part of one common goal

themselves and other tend to start believing it lol

However, on your last point, is it really an illusion?

Dont intend to beat a dead horse but this is the area where I just see differently than perhaps most black people and I cant really explain why. I think it has to do with the fact that I have had so much exposure and contact with white people for such a long time that I see through much of their facade. What may be illusion to some black folks is very real to white folks but I dont wanna continue beating the same dead horse. I remember three years ago when people were prodicting a "bottoming out" of the marketplace. I dont want to underestimate the large numbers of black people these economic crisis affect considering the numbers I have read stating that most black households are home owners. Myself, its only recently that I have been concerned with "cashing my check" (and the bills can wait...lol!). The 18 years prior I was no different struggling to make ends meet while saving for retirement and my daughter's college education....and insurance for my own burial.

I just dont see this "system" as controlled as many believe and that this "one world governemnt" arrangement is going down as planned and that some of us give these folks too much credit and too much power.

Most white folks are not affluent and they fear the "terrorist" so much because of their own insecurity and knowledge that they have been "breached". That fear is very real.

I have been over this numerous times here before and will try and give a brief synopsis and keep it moving. I never said illusion does not exist. What I am resistant to is people telling me what I see is illusion. If I see through something (ex.facade) then I see what is real. I see the essence of what is beneath the mask they are wearing. True most people are under illusion and what they see is a distorted reality. And this is one way they are affected by what takes place on wall st.

When the bear such as stearns collapse then it affects most people positive or negative depending on their credit rating. It also affects most people when panic causes withdrawal from commodities and the price of crude gasoline falls 65 point in two months. When I first hit California, leaving Atlanta in July gasoline pices were as high as $4.65 in Southern Cal and Nevada. Crude had hit 145 a barrel. It is now close to going under 80 a barrel.

With the looming "energy crisis" politicians now debate concerning energy "independence". One in particular is stumping for development of more nuclear power. Energy independence. Yet the problem is energy inefficiency and lack of conservation.

This last point is what is the impending doom. For the polar bear and 25% of mammal wild life species it is alread too late. They are on the brink of extinction. I dont live on Wall St. or Main St. so what happens there does not directly affect me. But what happens on Wilshire Blvd does. I already stated what I see with eyes wide open. More Mexicans selling out dogs out of shopping cart grills on the corners outside of train stations, along with fried corn and everything else they can pack into coolers and make a buck on. More white folks going through the dumpsters at night while I'm waiting for the bus to get home. More white folks and elderly Asian women in my face asking me for loose change so they can get something to eat. Young white boys sleeping in corners on cardboard mats when I'm taking an early walk down LaBrea. And more angry Black folks on the bus who are constatly complaining about "them **** mexicans!"

Perhaps this all is an illusion and nothing I see is real. Maybe I am really not really living in this physical realm so my dreams years ago must have revealed to me a true existence in a seemingly parallel universe or something. Sorry...I was supposed to keep this brief.lol!
