what about agnostic people? is it possible for them to believe in such?

Agnosticism is a water down version of atheism. Most atheists are actually agnostics as we cannot say for sure if god, Santa, the sky fairy etc do no exist. Not they are all on the same level. Agnostics do not for example believe the Christian god is more likely to exist that Santa.

Well, from a strict christian POV everything not conforming to their narrow view of the world is satanic. Everybody will go to hell except them. Satan is like the big bogeyman they use to scare naive people with.

Reincarnation and atheism are not mutually exclusive as atheism is simply a lack of belief in a deity. Just like a theist can believe in evolution and an atheist not. But it would be rare for an atheist to believe in reincarnation as usually the type of people who are associated with atheism tend to be rational.

Carl Sagan wrote about those children remembering previous life and took them seriously. But I'm not sure I agree with Sagan here. Thorough scientific investigation will debunk reincarnation. I myself investigated reincarnation and haunted places ("guaranteed to find ghosts" according to some friends) during my "buddhist phase". All turned out to be a bunch of nonsense. No such thing as the paranormal, I concluded. Although I could still be wrong..

and what about the inconsistencies in the Bible? Even after the known inconsistencies, some who may think that reincarnation is satanic say that we misunderstand the context.

Here was a study done by medical professionals at Southhampton University in the UK in 2008 over a 4 year period. An investigation into NDEs of Cardiac patients. The results were interesting to say the least.

see? these are the kind of things i think of from time to time, but i keep it to myself most of the time because i don't want people thinking i am 'crazy' and pissing off super religious people speaking on it.
