You obviously are stuck in your dogma. I ain't gonna sit here and continue to post the obvious only to have you stick to your rigid beliefs like a true conservative. It is amazing the lack of knowledge of other countries shown by Americans. Again, that is on purpose - to get people thinking like you. Colombia is a capitalist democracy. They are famous in south america for their entrepreneurial spirit and are good at it. Of course they have private property. are you serious?

O.K., I thought you knew that Colombia had private property, etc. and were just pulling my chain. my bad. I don't know what the answewr is as far as what would be better for us. I do know that we need a government that looks out for the majority of us who are middle class or under. Whatever we wanna call it, i think it would be better than a government that is sticking it to us all the time. Look at Canada, right next door. Socialist. they pay about 50% taxes. Now, we say, "no way i wanna pay that!" Now figure out what you are paying. I pay 30% income taxes, then state income tax 6%, plus sales tax, 7%, plus property tax, about 5% of income, plus all them county and city taxes on my water bill, phone bill, light bill. 50%!!
But I get NOTHING for my 50%, while the socialist gets education, health care, pension, and on and on.

Well, you do live in Florida. The cost of living there is through the roof. 36% in income taxes? Wow! Won't be moving there EVER. My mom has property in FL so I know how the property taxes are.

I know Canadians get free education all the way through college, but don't Floridians at least get it up through HS? And even though it ain't all that great unless you live medium to low cost of living state, the US does have pension funds.

About that health care thing..... Personally, I think we need more Naturopathic Doctors.They're cheaper and provide better care.

Also, what do you know about the Cayman Islands, Barbados, and Antigua?

They're pretty low on taxes but I'm just wondering whether they have the same stuff as Canada and Colombia as far as free health care, education, etc.

As long as we consult the paper we will find support for whatever system we choose whether it's capitalism or socialism or whatever. I could write up a constitution for riverism and it will look good and have its virtues and values right along with the best of them

I concur. I am a by any means necessary type of person. I will take whatever weapon and make it mine. I do not discriminate by bus, car, truck, ship, plane or train. The end justifies the means in my book.

I think you should write up that constitution of Riverism.

I already have my provisional grovernment in place that swears allegiance only to Blackbirdism (Tuhwism) for which it stands. I have elected officials and even a high priest. I believe everyone should live life according to the high and lofty aims of Blackbirdism.
