Yesterday the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit shut down President Obama’s plan to protect up to 5 million undocumented immigrants from deportation, which means immigration reform will continue to be a hot button issue through next year and more than likely the next president’s entire administration.

According to the Washington Post, “There are an estimated 11 million immigrants living in the country illegally.” If you’re a conservative, it’s likely you want every last one of them gone. But how do you, as an African-American, feel about illegal immigrants, particularly in lieu of allegations that their presence actually inhibits our economic growth in the country?

    It is no secret
Yes and just to be clear.

The "pattern" is that I reject the notion that the Democrats are automatically our friends and the Republicans are automatically our enemies.

There are two ideologies at play. It's liberal or conservative. I have no allegance to either party because as I pointed out many times before both parties are only interested in preserving their own power.

The issue you raised is just one example of this.

When the Republicans were in power they proposed immigration reform the Democrats opposed it.

Now the Democrats are in power and they propose immigration reform the Republican oppose it.

The ILLEGAL immigration IS hurting African Americans for reason I explained before.

So neither the Republicans nor the Democrats care about that fact.

The big donors however in both parties want to weaken immigration laws because it means lower wages and bigger profits.

The only people living in the past who think in terms of I'm a Democrat or Republican, is the American Negro. He's the one that runs around bragging about party affiliation. He's the one that sticks to the Democrat or sticks to the Republican.

But white people are divided into two groups, liberals and conservative. The Democrats who are conservative, vote with the Republicans who are conservative. The Democrats who are liberal vote with the Republicans that are liberal. -Malcolm X

So I support policies as they relate to our well being instead of wholesale lockstep Party support. I understand that my position is controversial, but that's ok. As long as I get some to at least think about how a policy is actually affecting our community, and not just accept what the media talking heads are feeding us I'm happy.

And, I hear they are trying to force AAs out of neighborhoods in Southern California, where they have lived forever. I can't get an idea of how big this problem is, because it's not being followed in the news much.
