Black Spirituality Religion : A challenge to quote ERRORS/CONTRADICTIONS in the BIBLE.

Here is another example of one verse with two contradictions:

II Samuel 10:18
And the Syrians fled before Israel; and David slew the Syrians the men of seven hundred chariots, and forty thousand horsemen...

I Chronicles 19:18
And the Syrians fled before Israel; and David slew of the Syrians the men of seven thousand chariots, and forty thousand footsoldiers...

So which is which, did David slay the men of 700 or 7,000 chariots? And were there 40,000 footsoldiers or horsemen?

Anatomy of Insects

This was slightly touched upon a few pages back, but not (IMO) sufficiently presented, and definitely not rebutted to any satisfaction.

In the same chapter of Leviticus as the one we have seen above, we find that the author does not even know that insects have six legs.
We are told that insects such as the locust, grasshopper and the cricket have four legs.

Leviticus 11: 20-23
All winged insects that go upon all fours are an abomination to you. Yet among the winged insects that go on all fours you may eat those who have legs on their feet, with which to leap on the earth. Of them you may eat: the locust according to it’s kind, the cricket according to its kind, and the grasshopper according to its kind. But all other winged insects which have four feet are an abomination to you."

It is indeed strange, if one considers the Bible to be the directly inspired word of God, that He should have forgotten the anatomies of the insects he created!

There is no insect that has less than 6 legs. And what about that strange statement "who have legs on their feet"??? What does that even mean?? How could anything have feet, without legs?

Botany of the Mustard Plant
There is a claim attributed to Jesus about the botany of the mustard plant in the thirteenth chapter of Matthew that goes like this:

Matthew 13:31-32 NRSV

He [Jesus] put before them another parable: "The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed that someone took and sowed in the field; it is the smallest of all seeds...

Here was Jesus, supposedly God himself, reported in the Bible, the supposed inerrant word of God, as claiming something which is manifestly false. The mustard seed is not the smallest of all seeds. For while it is true that mustard seeds are small, they are not the smallest. According to my copy of the Guinness Book of World Records, the smallest seeds are those of the epiphytic orchids. Each seed weighs in at approximately 0.0000008 grams!

This one passage proves that neither the Bible, nor Jesus, can be considered the word of God in the fundamentalist sense.

As Salaam Alaikum!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe it is a misinterpretation or maybe it's a contradiction but Let's look at it.

Many Christians say that No Man or no One has ever seen God and like to use John 1:18 or 1st John 4:12.

John 1:18
Viewing the King James Version. Click to switch to 1611 King James Version of John 1:18.

No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.

1 John 4:12 Translations
King James Version (KJV)
No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.

So Is this a contradiction or misinterpretation of the Bible.

You are confused because you don't know the bible and how it is written.
Let me try to clear up the confusion.

Jesus being God's only "son" means that he is his only begotten son , which means having a son that is of your seed . God did this through spiritual means not physical.

Another sense of the word "son" is someone who follows or accepts someone else as their father even though he may not be his physical. father.
When a man adopts boy he becomes his father even though he is not his physical father.
As Christians we are "born again" because we die to our old selves and become people in terms of our spirituality and because we accept God way of spirituality we become his spiritual children and he becomes our spiritual father .
