Black Spirituality Religion : A challenge to quote ERRORS/CONTRADICTIONS in the BIBLE.

Another mistake in arithmetic which, as far as I can tell, was first pointed out by the American patriot, Thomas Paine (1737-1809), in his anti-Christian book The Age of Reason, comes from the books of Ezra and Nehemiah. In the second chapter of Ezra and the seventh chapter of Nehemiah, the authors gave a list of tribes and families, and the numbers of people of each, that were returning from the Babylonian exile. At the end of this list both Ezra and Nehemiah gave exactly the same total for the total number of people returning:

Ezra 2:64 (Nehemiah 7:66)
The whole assembly together was forty two thousand three hundred and sixty.

Thus the number is 42,360 people. The table below gives a breakdown of the list of the number of people given by Ezra and Nehemiah. Note that both Ezra's and Nehemiah's total do not come up to the figure they mentioned. In fact they even contradict one another. Ezra's total was actually 29,818 and Nehemiah's was 31,089. Both the authors can't do simple sums! Ezra missed the final total by 12,542 while Nehemiah missed it by 11,271. This discrepancy is not the only thing wrong with the two lists. The numbers of the individual families given by the two lists also contradict each other in at least 16 different places. For instance, Ezra gives the number of the sons of Arah as 775 while Nehemiah gives it as 652.

How is this to be reconciled?

The real truth is this..........You have to go the original Hebrew, Greek, Aramiac, Akkadian etc languages to find see the text in it's original unedited form.

The problem is, the original Hebrew texts contain the same errors. How is this reconciled?

And, the original texts are not easy for the layman to come by, let alone understand.... And that's even if they had the desire to do so.

Mistakes in Counting
We now move on to the lowest notch of arithmetic ability: that of counting. We will see that even in this, the Bible contains errors!

I Chronicles 3:22
The sons of Shemaiah: Huttush, Igal, Bariah, Neriah, and Shaphat, six.

Note that there were five sons listed, yet the Chronicler counted six! We find similar errors in I Chronicles 25:3, where five names were also given and again the chronicler counted six. (One begins to wonder if this is a learning disorder of the chronicler) Again in I Chronicles 3: 19-20 where eight names were given and he counted five! Chronicles is not the only author who can't count, we see the same problem in the book of Joshua:

Joshua 15:33-36
And in the lowland, Eshtaol, Zorah, Ashnah, Zanoah, Engannim, Tappuah, Enam, Jarmuth, Adullam, Socoh, Azekah, Shaaraim, Adithaim, Gederah, Gederothaim: fourteen cities with their villages.

Anyone who can count will see that there are fifteen cities listed above, not fourteen. Again in Joshua 15:21-32 there were thirty-six cities actually listed but the author only counted twenty-nine! Also in Joshua 19:2-6 we have fourteen cities listed but the author said there was only thirteen.

Two Contradictory Creation Stories
Let us start by pointing out that that there are actually two separate and different stories of creation contained in Genesis. The first is given in Genesis 1: 1-2:4 while the second is given in Genesis 2: 4-24. That these two stories are actually different (mutually exclusive accounts) we will show below:
According to the first creation story the whole universe was made in six days, while on the seventh day, God rested. The table below gives the order of creation as described in those verses:

Day--Relevant Verses--Things Created
One=Genesis=1:1-5 Light
Two= Genesis 1:6-8= “Firmanent” (the sky)
Three= Genesis 1:9-13= Dry Land, Seas, Plants
Four= Genesis 1:14-19= Sun, Moon and “the stars also”
Five =Genesis 1: 20-23 =Fish, “sea monsters”, winged bird.
Six= Genesis 1:24-31= Cattle, “creeping things”, beasts and finally man.

Given below is the second story.

Genesis 2:4-9, 18-19
In the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens, when no plant of the field was yet in the earth and no herb of the field had yet sprung up, for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was no man to till the ground; but a mist went up from the earth and watered the whole face of the ground, then the LORD God formed man of dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being. And the LORD God planted a garden in Eden, in the east; and there he put the man whom he had formed. And out of the ground the LORD God made to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight and good for food...
...
Then the LORD God said, "It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper fit for him." So out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field and every bird of the air, and brought them to the man to see what he would call them; and whatever the man called every living creature, that was its name.
The two stories contradict each other in many areas:

  • The order of creation: The reader will notice that the order of creation is completely different from the first story in Genesis Note the wording italicised. Man, according to Genesis chapter two, was made before any plants and animals were created. There is no ambiguity with the wording. It is clearly stated that there were no plants of any kind when man was first created. It was also clearly stated that animals were created after man was created as helpers for the human! According to Genesis chapter one, plants created in day three and animals in day five and six with man being the last item of creation on the sixth day.

  • The creation of man and woman. According to Genesis 1:27 man and woman were created simultaneously.

    Genesis 1:27
    So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.
    Yet the story in Genesis 2 was that woman was created as an afterthought; only after God was unable to find a suitable helper for Adam among the animals:

    Genesis 2:20-22
    The man gave names to all cattle, and to the birds of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for the man there was not found a helper fit for him. So the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon the man, and while he slept took one of his ribs and closed up its place with flesh; and the rib which the LORD God had taken from the man he made into a woman

  • Other contradictions. There are other contradictions between the two stories which we will simply list down here:
    • In the first account, water first covered the earth and dry land was not made until the third day (Genesis 1:9-13). In the second account, the earth was dry land before a mist came up from the earth and watered the whole earth (Genesis 2:5-6)
    • The first story tells of the creation of the universe in seven days. Yet the second story implies that all was created in a single day (Genesis 2:4 In the day that the Lord God made the earth and the heavens…)
    • In the first story, the man and woman was allowed to eat any fruit (Genesis 1:29 and every tree with seed in its fruit; you shall have them for food), yet in the second story he is prohibited from eating the fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil (Genesis 2:17 & 3:3).
    • The reference to God in the first account was simply Elohim (normally translated as God) while in the second account the creator is always referred to as Yahweh Elohim (usually translated as Lord God).
It is quite obvious that we are looking at two contrary accounts of the creation of the universe. And if they are contrary, at least one must be false-i.e. just by looking within the Bible itself we have shown that at least one story is a myth.

Point-by-point dialogue on top of contradictions and errors in this incredible biblical text has its upside ---as there are more than enough errors that meet the eye. This non historical, non factual collection of jewish-greek-roman patriarchal thoughts of twisted ANCIENT BLACK KHEMET truth, knowledge, understanding along with wit and wisdom ----falls so very short on the pole of reproof in the original argument.;)

Problem is....:confused:

...in spite of all the vast, well documented collection of facts that point to many, many, many, many, many faults within this supposedly purrfect book ...adults who follow the lying lore of Christianity ---will only be further vexed by this "truth" simple because they are mentally, emotionally and religiously locked inside a control program that has been grandfathered in since childhood.:rolleyes:

:grouphug::grouphug::grouphug::grouphug::grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug::grouphug::grouphug::grouphug:

Therefore, followers will "forever" defend this "talisman of sorts" with the full understanding that they neither authored this book nor printed its pages nor supplied the necessary and essential sources that were needed as a solid foundation. Yes, biblical insanity is certainly the working operative here, do what can you do what can you say?

:thinking:

Answer: Leave this emotional, mental and spiritual abyss of a construct to its own devices and to those who support these devices. If followers wake up ---this is all the more better; however, if followers do not ever wake up ---wish them well and keep your conscious energy moving in the opposite direction ---up, not down ----as it is obvious that not everyone is meant to share the enlightenment of a new era....The Coming Age of Aquarius:)
