For me, it's usually when their bodies can no longer be found ...

I'm often the last to see them as they head out on that fateful fishing, hunting, boating trip, etc.

I'm there, dutiful, providing as much information as i can to the search party.

Ultimately though ... i am forced ... kicking and screaming ... to move on with my life.

It is what they'd want me to do, in light of their bodies never being found.

That's usually when i pull away ... when i must ...

I would say ... infidelity, putting friends before the girl, lack of ambition , too.. religious to where they can be a bit stubborn and arrogant and doesn't know it.
