Of course ELL does not apply to African American students ... Looking for some gimmick to solve the problem of low academic achievements of some of our children is not the path we need to go. We have well tested methods to resolve the problem, which starts with the parents being their children's biggest academic advocates. The parents making sure their children are focused on learning, doing their assignments, and not disrupting class.
