Can someone help me to better understand the most significant differences between communalism and capitalism and also, is communalism being practiced in any society today? Reading the previous posts, I simplified the differences as capitalism being a system that promotes personal (individual) financial gain, and communalism being a system that promotes financial gain on behalf of the community. What are the pros and cons of each and am I oversimplifying their basic premises? What system of government supports communalism?
