Black People Politics : Why we should abandon the Democratic Party

The same time and energy that we divest into these democratic/republican/systemic conversations are the same amount of time that we can use to think of HOW TO CONSTRUCT OUR OWN SYSTEM. Our minds are so caught up into their ish that we act like and subconsciously think like we shouldn't have nothing of our own! Why can't we develop a social construct for our people to live by? Why can't we develop our own constitution for our people here and abroad? Why can't we even think that WE DESERVE IT JUST AS EVERYONE ELSE DOES AND HAS EXCEPT US!!!

I agree that we should do something for ourselves but my next thought in regards to the suggestion that you made in regards to 'developing our own constitution' made me recognize your own proverb that you have listed, because 'the constitution' was a construct of White Supremacist systems that went all the way back to the White Greeks that set up, and so I just don't see that part as 'a form of relief' for us.

Another issue that I believe we need to consider is 'reality' in terms of our present state of existence in that big government causes us to have to communicate in their presence and this gives the opportunity for us to always be exploited in certain ways, and so I believe that in order for us to be successful in coming together we need to start from with in and stand on principles and belief.

But most of all, in order for us to come together we need to deal with the issue of RESPECT. How can we even begin to come together if we use disrespective and supremacist tactics one toward each other, attack one another's belief systems, shut off communication with one another, and have a platform that 'it's my ways and belief that take supreme in the new set up of our new government'!? That kind of approach is a copy cat of our very oppressors. So I believe that in order for those of us who want to come together, we must first need to have a better understanding of 'human rights' and 'what human rights violation includes', cause Black people have a history of violating each others human rights more than any body else on this planet, in my opinion, and that is why we became exploited and railroaded into about 400 years of chattel Slavery and being victimized in the slave ship era and formed the basis of this very democratic/republican government that you say we are spending too much time speaking about.

White Supremacist say the opportunity to take advantage of us because they recognized how we disrespect each other and violate each other's human rights on a daily basis. That's what I think. We need to respect each other in the midst of our communications, and be willing to try and make peace, make amends, when we are 'called out', cause, i know I can get out of sorts myself. I think our ancestors at some early time did do a good job in developing their systems but they erred when they welcomed in the enemy who came in with flattery and deceived them.

I don't really believe that we need to start 'a new constitution' and start afreash, but perhaps we could sift through our history and learn from their mistakes and then build from that point. That's my first thoughts, anyway.

I agree that the system has always been this way and we still thrived. Only you want to view it as a reason to quit. Better than you didnt quit. GOD forbid King had your view. We never would have had the 'movement'

..

I appreciate what you have said, but I want you to understand that I can understand you in what you believe in your way of fighting, but I don't know if it's because you come from an older generation, however, I'm not quitting. ..

And for the..he people that were lynched, or for the young Black 'boys' that were executed in electric chairs while white jurors looked on and observed, and for the millions of us that were killed by this racist system, that's not thriving. But

Also, when after King and many others that were assasinated, and murdered, for the most part and in my opinion, the movement died too. Then the Whites came with their democratic and republic platform and many us now believe that is the only way to fight and address our issues...but we are not addressing OUR ISSUES, we are addressing everybody elses issues but our unique issues.

I noticed that my position was misunderstood as supporting the independent party.

I'm for an independent voting block not beholden to any party.
from all that you have said i get the impression that you want black people to support republicans
