There are those who are a part of the problem and who would make us likewise by what they (not us) advocate because of their self serving takes about what they felt or thought we'd go for just because they're black too!

I. e., the 'politics of blackness' ala 2009 kinda sorta is a reflection of what that person merely presumes (doesn't know it to be true), though it is an idealized take on white/black relations, etc., as though as long as whites are into that sort of crap--as well as the alleged or real black person--nothing else matters to them--and nothing else should matter to us either!

It's a given I consider such people stuck on 'stupid'...

Though also a case study of what passes (like bad gas) among other folk who may not ever have been a part of ongoing social and political movements etc.

Insecurity, Hord agrees, is at the heart of pedophilia. Typically, pedophiles have trouble relating to people their own age. They need to feel they have power and control in a relationship, which is easy with children. One pedophile, "PwC," attests to this, writing on a pedophilia Web site:

"I'm 21 years old, and a virgin, I've never even kissed a girl. I have no job, and can't keep one. I'm frustrated that I'm a virgin, and it seems very unlikely that I'll ever get the kind of woman I want, and I'm desperate, because I need love. I never have molested a little girl, never! I want to though, I'm truly desperate. I want to hold a little girl in my arms, and tell her I love her, and that I'll keep her safe, and protect her, that appeals to me greatly."

This man is remorseful, but there are plenty of pedophiles who are not. Men and women who molest kids "for sport," as Hord puts it, are the most dangerous.

Prejudice and discrimination against non-active pedophiles is as morally wrong as prejudice and discrimination against homosexuals or any other minority. Furthermore, simulated child porn should be legal. Computer generated images are not sentient beings, they do not have interests that we're morally obligated to protect. There is no logical reason to illegalize simulated, child porn if no actual child was involved in it's making, some people have a hysterical, emotional response to the issue of pedophilia that prevents them from analyzing the issue without bias.

For the record, there are psychologists who disagree with the mainstream position that pedophilia is an illness rather than a sexual orientation. They argue that most psychologists have too much of an emotional bias to analyze the issue objectively, sample studies of pedophiles have been skewed (for one, most 'pedophiles' studied are child molesters, most adults who are attracted to children are likely in the closet about it) and there's no real evidence to support the idea that an attraction to children is pathological. In any event, ill or not, as long as they don't act on their attraction I can't see any justification for the prejudice and discrimination against them that is so socially acceptable. We all agree that raping women is morally wrong but if a man wants to fantasy about doing so in the privacy of his mind, let him.

if I could see the face behind the opinion, I might spend a few hours thinking about letting him experience the pain he justifies. But no threat, I would just "think about it"

Legalizing simulated, child porn or considering pedophilia to be a sexual orientation rather than a mental illness causes no one to suffer. Computer generated images cannot suffer. Not once did I say that child-adult sex itself should be legal or tolerated, that's a completely separate issue.
