I have to go back and pick up what you said previously. You asked me about Socialism. It is the acorn leading to Communism. It's a first step on the path to a loss of freedom. Everyone would say we want all to have healthcare, a warm place to live, food, clothing. But, Socialism comes with a mandated cost.
Socialism is a government take over telling us what we can do and can't do, a loss of freedom with a loss of quality of life. In other words for the government to be able to afford socialized medicine, personal taxes go up and it still doesn't take care of costs. The whole country has to march in a line for socialism to work. So Let's look at some models. Not all surgeries are accepted for government pay. That is why so many Canadians come to the U.S. for specialized doctors and procedures which can include heart. For instance England also has socialized medicine. There is a wait list because there is not enough affordable anesthesia to have cosmetic surgery which is considered not important, because the cost is too great for governments. Therefore England has a reputation for bad teeth, crooked, and stained. I remember the movie where a guy was looking at the beautiful girl. When she smiled her teeth were green. Take a look at some English actors. I think more are coming to America to get their teeth corrected.
I heard yesterday even, now the English are working at putting up a law that obese people can't have surgery unless they lose weight and smokers quit. They can come back in eight weeks to be reviewed if they quit over eating and smoking. Hope they live that long. Some body said, "Follow the money."
Socialism is trying to sneak in to the U.S.. The Insurance companies are pushing Euthanasia which has been accepted in the State of Washington. That will save State money. The government is overseeing our school and college curriculum. Socialistic State governments are choosing what we will learn or discard, setting up a Communistic agenda. In comes the word "Slippery Slope."
Rules and regulations are applied that have nothing to do with wisdom or business, therefore jobs have gone away to other countries. The only strong voice in Socialism is the political, governmental voice and the agenda voice in college. We as a nation of people grow weaker, and are even given what is appropriate to think and speak being "Politically Correct," according to the socialized agenda.
It is important to a Socialist and Communist/Marxist agenda to take away the will of the people by making us weak and dependent on the government taking care of us. In our democracy we have programs for the needy, welfare comes to mind for those who need it, etc.. Socialism makes us tend to be followers, because we need that government gift of money maybe by what we don't have to pay.
The Socialist government comes with it's rhetoric to appease our minds and make us more accepting to their new concepts. How about a three term President? That works into four. Then we have Communism. Communism is the loss of individual property, no private property, the government has everything, followed by loss of freedom of speech, followed by being watched.
This is rather a fast, basic,view of Socialism. There is a lot more to it, and it is always teetering on Communism.

Now though, I will tell you that every thing you have said about Socialism and Communism, I have experienced under this American government! Everything.
So I just don't understand the difference then from this American government and the definition of Socialism and Communism. Here are some points you mentioned about Socialism:

Teeth are bad, not cost effective for socialized government
Obese; lose weight or no surgery…

I have experienced all of this here in America! From a black African American perspective, all of what you wrote about Socialism and Communism is America for many. The welfare program helps some White people but it did not in any way help me! In fact, it was through this very program, the welfare program, that the courts justified seizing my kids!!! Then after 3 years of sifting me and my husband like wheat, they returned my kids but we were financially broke for spending thousands upon thousands of dollars to go into court and prove that our kids were seized based on A PROVEN FALSE ALLEGATION. After this American system kidnapped my kids and charged me, garnished my wages, jailed me on a false allegation, we have never financially recovered.
This American government continues to thrive off of human sacrifice of Black African American people. I obtained my education, but this system terminated me after I became permanently injured while doing my job. The doctor wrote that my standing on a hard floor for hours, damaging my feet, was my fault because I had gained weight.
This thread defines the 666/man system based on SLAVERY. America, this democratic government, is definitely founded upon the Chattel Slave System and the Transatlantic Slave Trade.
Nevertheless, I still here you on other issues that involve Socialism and Communism that may also apply to other big governments.
