Black People : PROJECT: SHAKE UP THE WORLD.

The truth is a Revolution is already taken place. For better or for worse. We hardly realize just how Messianic we have become as a race, yet even our Messiahs will be used against us when we lack the ability to recognize them and treat them accordingly. I fault many things for this. In particular, too many of us have our heads stuck inside some old book. So of course, we expect our Saviors to literally be these characters that could only exist in a past reality.

There's nothing wrong with the old book. From this we should be able to extract a universal theme we can then apply into real time. This is not the case with most people. Most people are looking for a Man with long hair and sandals to save them, no wonder we often betrayed by these very Men. We will tailor ourselves to look like, act like - some old fictional character, only to call ourselves righteous. The digital Revolutionaries of today have better and faster tools than the Revolutionaries of yesterday.

The messages are the same, but the method by which these messages are distributed have excelled. How would millions of Blacks in America know about land availability in Ghana if not for a random E-mail? Or a link in a forum? Next, I would like to see CHURCH or community sponsored trips to Africa. We can use this same system of digital networking to put these agendas in place. And this is not just wishful thinking.

There are organizations that are already doing this. Those of you who went to the last Million Man March know there were at least a few hundred organizations passing out their flyers or postcards, all of which deal with a movement of some kind- you would also note most of these groups had a website. Even as part of the March an agenda was put in place to link Black America together based upon skills and the ability to produce. I felt it was a wonderful idea. We don't realize just how huge the skill level of Black America is. We hear it too many times in the media that Blacks CAN'T. But ask yourself, if we're not doing it, who is? Whites as a majority own and supervise. Most of us live beyond the luxuries of the stock market, mutual funds, IRAs and 401ks- if we don't work- we die.

So who has the skills? Right now as I speak I know Black chemists in Atlanta. Blacks who create and distribute their OWN hair care products. Black farmers who own and distribute their own fresh food and vegetables. A handful of Black inventors- I know 1 Black inventor who creates toys for a toy manufacturer. But that's just here in Atlanta. Its often said right here at Destee that Black don't support one another. The reality is, Black people want MORE support from Black people- the support some of these Creators get is not enough, so often times they have to run to Whites. As a choir, Black America is asking for change- is that not right?

I saw we arrest all the Black folks in the community who have professional video cameras, yet might be using them to film, say- ghetto porn - and let's start our our community media companies. Distribute our OWN news and information via DVDs or streamed on the web. Some of us are thirsty and hungry for the information, we are waiting and hoping for someone to step in a change the game. But these things will never happen, when we are content with waiting for an end to come. Oh- woe is me, the end is here, Jesus is on his way. The most important part of the end of any story, is that the reader has gotten the message.

Are we getting the message yet? Well this is why we need to support our Messengers, digital or otherwise.

What happens to a Black Genius deferred?

You're looking at it.

And what if Dave Chappelle shoke up the World by asking hard questions of White America, what if he pushed for true change? Who'd be laughing then.

More deferred Black Genius-----

Having dreads doesn't make one conscious does it.

Peace Brother Meta.

If only Bro. Khalid Muhammad was alive today, hm? That Elder was something. And Elder Biko. Ah...

If we channel the energies left and projected to us by those Ancestors we can truly shake up the world.

Do not believe I saw Elder Brother Mwalimu Baruti on any list, he is on point and ready to shake up whatever. See his book "the sex imperative", hard-hitting energies in that book. The Brother is clearly enraged and focused, and he looks SO much like Morpheus/Brother Freeman.

Give thanks for many insightful and blessed thread, Bro. Meta.

One.

Thank you Ikoro for this honorable mention!!!

Let us not forget our Elder Mwalimu Baruti! How dare I forget the Warriors and teachers right here in Atlanta.

Mentacide is a good book too:

Mentacide occurs when you willingly think and act out of someone else's interpretation of reality to their benefit and against your survival. It is a state of subtle insanity which, over the last few hundred years, has come to characterize more and more Afrikans globally.

Another Master teacher here in Atlanta is Elder Bobby Hemmitt, I run into him from time to time, he used to be in different forums frequently I might ask him to drop in the next time I do see him.

I know some people are afraid of what Bobby speaks about, much like myself. Like I always say, fear is the mind killer. Let those who are afraid find their little holes to hide, because truth is truth regardless of who is speaking it.

If material like this isn’t shaking things up, what is?

We are thankful for our Ministers of Justice like our Ancestor Khalid Muhammad.

Khalid is alive today. He is alive in those of us who will not hold our tongue just because a White person is nearby. Speak liberation everywhere, not just when it is convenient for your audience. He would dare most of us, even me. I dare you to change the world!

When he was here in the physical, the same people who praise him now-spoke heavily against him- not knowing he was an Ancestor then as he is now.

Why is Khalid necessary? Because of the conditions we are in, that’s why. If we weren’t in these conditions we wouldn’t need a Khalid. And that’s what most of our people need to realize.

Messengers and Leaders don’t just come for their own amusement, they come because they are called.

We stomp the ground and make the sound of thunder in respect and honor for Khalid Muhammad and those like him, who are taught and awakened by different faiths but rise up to the same call.
