My signicficant other sent me the him part of this poem and I was moved enough to write about it. It is sort of mushy but this just where I am at these days

At the lovers dance completion
As my heart slows down to its repetion
My mind begins to take a walk
And I whisper this sweet pillow talk

(him)
LIKE A BIRD SOARIN THROUGH THE AIR
U MAKE ME FLOAT ON SILKY STRANDS OF THE WINDS HAIR,
AS I LOOK INTO OPTICALS SO FAIR,
AT HER RADIANT SOUL I CAN'T HELP BUT STARE
HER EVERY MOVE AN EVERY SHUDDER I SHALL BE AWARE,
UNTIL HER BODY SHIVERS FROM A SPASMS TEAR

(her)
Like the waves of the mighty sea
U make me transcend through reality with glee
Staring into the soul of thee
Trying hard not to lose that which is me
Sensations so overwhelming that I want to flee
Yet I hold on till I can't see

How wonderfully, amazing it must be
That poetry is all I can utter to thee
The magic of this moment I wish to keep
So don't wake me from my sleep
