How do I post a youtube video because going to Media and pasting the embedded code doesn't work

How do I post a youtube video because going to Media and pasting the embedded code doesn't work

To post a video to the Media Library, which also adds a link to your profile page, do this :

1. Go here : Submit Media

2. Copy and paste the youtube video address / URL in the field and follow the prompts.

I don't want to know how to post a video to the Media Library, I want to know how to post a video in a thread.
I clicked the link you provided and it worked, but that doesn't post a video to the thread.
