And yet pretty much EVERY religion has a story about a global flood.... even non-Western religions.

We don't live in the Stone Age so they are better methods of finding out if there ever was a global flood than here say. I'm sure alot of religions saw the world as flat with four corners that does not mean the earth was ones flat. Flooding happens in many parts of the world and if you don’t even know the earth is round it would feel like the world has flooded to you. More than 90% of the species that have ever been on this planet are extinct, what exactly is the size of the ship that would hold two of every species.

If you acquire your knowledge through faith, that's fine only we can no longer have a discussion. It is an unreliable method and there is no way of knowing who is right. You can have faith in anything and you're right the more outrageous the claim the more faith you need. More so in your religions is faith required as god as great as he is could not see a way to have his words translatable.

While unusual, virgin birth is a scientific FACT. Think about it this way (you really should have taken more than one course in biology!): Sperm are mobile. They swim. They even compete with each other to get to the "egg" first. Some are so aggressive, so focused on reaching that egg, that it is not necessary for the male penis to penetrate the female vagina. Should a male's aroused penis come in "close" contact with an excited female's vagina (not penetrate, just kinda laying on the female's vulva, whateva - keeping it clean!), sperm can "swim" into the vagina and fertilize the egg. While this is rare, it has happened numerous times throughout history.

Although in Mary's case, there was no sperm involved.

You're an intelligent person so I'll take this last statement as your attempt at a joke. The clam is not that somehow Mary got pregnant from sperm without intercourse but through divine intervention.

I’m not the one making extraordinary clams or justifying immoral acts as good and wonderful this. The bible is with no evidence to support them. The lack of evidence and the absurdities of the stories makes me believe they are myth.
