Black People : Are the Negroes being Educated for Freedom or Slavery?

In thread about an African escaping from African slavery in the 21rst century, he said 'Education gave me my freedom.'


Is our system different? Set up different? Does Education equal freedom?
Freedom of what? What type? What kind?

the desire for liberation comes from the heart.

There was no more racist education then the ones the children had in Harlem during the time of Garvey yet they used it as a tool for liberation.

In Africa today there are only a few of the 52 nations that have free education for the children, so in a way,

for 21 century opression degredation and slavery to exist in a computer age,

illiteracy and ignorance must be maintianed as the paradigm!

Many researchers and scholars we give props to these days were and are self educated...

Sometimes folk just have to make an effort, i. e., regardless of inept principals/bad schools/etc.
