Black Spirituality Religion : Why Do We Put God In A Box?

No, I don't consider this moral. But again, there are things in christianity I don't consider moral either. Sometimes people (of all faiths) ignore what their conscious is telling them and use religion to justify evil choices. They become so immersed with an evil behavior that they lose the guilt that they would've originally had. They WILL be set straight eventually, whether it is in this life or in the next. Nonetheless, this should not be used as an excuse to prevent people from freedom of spiritual expression. If you are TRULY seeking God, regardless of what your culture or your religion says, you will strive to do good and be loving towards people because this is the true nature of God Himself/Herself.

As far as a murderer being moral... it depends on the situation in which they murdered. If they were doing it in self-defense, then that would have no affect on their moral stance.

Murder cant be done in self defense otherwise it wouldnt be murder. Murder is when you needlessly kill someone on purpose.

How can someone know what morality is without a guide? They cant . The bible is the guide God has given us to keep us moral so we need to read it and pray to God in order to keep away from sin

If that's the case, then no, a murderer cannot be moral unless he or she admits their previous actions were wrong and 'gracefully' accepts their earthly punishment (spending time in jail or getting the death penalty).

As far as the 'guides' for morality... if the guide contains immorality in itself, then how could it really be considered appropriate to follow in the first place? And even the good things that these guides advocate can be found in other cultures. So, on some level, we already know what is right and what is wrong... our conscious should be our guide.

You cant know if anything is moral unless you have laws of morality already established just like you cant tell if running a redlight is illegal unless you have traffic laws already established. You cant make up your own traffic laws and you cant make up your own moral laws.
