Yea! Somebody who wants to look before they leap. Anderson Separatism is based on bitter emotions, not sound modern research. I have mentioned that we no longer live in small places using the teletype code. "Everything is global." Every thing and everybody is linked in a super speed. Even bigger businesses are crashing, going bankrupt in these last couple of years. Why is that? Because buyers and business have moved into the world internet. Stores are super sized globally. I'm sure mom and pops can still have their little business but it is too expensive to run the small business at the corner and then hardly eek out a living from it. Sometimes the help goes home with more money than the store owner. So, yes it is necessary to integrate in business. That means doing business with the world. Banking is teetering today. Who you going to trust your money with, by starting the Bank At The Corner? There are Federal regulations to guarantee the safety of your money. I have actually thought about burying the ol' can in the back yard for a savings account if the economy gets worse.Why do you believe that to be true?

America is not the self producer that it once was. We rely on the products of other nations, as do they. To go into the corner and hate everyone on the outside is to go backward, not keeping up. It definitely weakens a people. Look at the huge nation Russia, a superpower militarily. However, the people suffer, the majority living in government owned tenements. The heat in the building works best for the people living closest to the furnace. The water is not pure and you will be told to drink bottled water. Russia is a Separatist nation under a Communist rule. How well do the people do? They are watched and they are told what they can do and think. Would you call this thriving. If it were not for China the Russians as a nation would still be at a loss.
China became a contender when they learned from Hong Kong the rewards and art of world economy. Now they are lenders and we are in debt to them because we give all our money away to unwise and uncontrolled demand for spending of a variety, another topic.
Communist China though large and financially sound are still Separatists. Do the people thrive? There are devices of punishment, slave camps, and the people fear to speak and watch their words publicly and I am sure in front of their neighbors not trusting the next door neighbor for turning you in as an out of line traitor. Where do you think all those people in the slave camps come from? They, as the Russians cannot travel freely only after government scrutiny. Everyone is watched, because the government does not trust the people. Suspicion rules going both ways between the government and the people. Devices of punishment are everywhere. Let say you started up a business on the internet doing business with everyone in every nation. The Separatist government would know this and eventually nationalize your hard work and success, meaning your money goes to them. Check it out. Even socialism does that as it becomes more and more communistic.
