Acknowledging my fear
Strong feelings and emotion
So difficult to bear

I’ve reached out to you
Expressing my thoughts
We needed some space
I’m sorry we fought

My phone sits silent
The door stands still
The next episode looms
Do we continue
Do we dare

Stated desires
Unselfish wants
The anticipation is great
Felt deep in my walls

What happens next
Who makes the first move
An honest response
The only thing needed from you

Please hold me close
Whisper in my ear
Tell me you love me
Do you see it
Is it clear
