Black People : What would Garvey, Malcolm X, or Fannie Lou Hamer done with the internet, facebook and twitter

In lieu of the various movements , demonstrations for rights, and freedom from economic oppression, site in word the Black Movements of the 60s as their inspiration.

The Arab Spring whether successful or not, gave credit to the non violent portest movement of Africans here
and the occupy movement s make the same claim as well in each major city in the US and of course Wall street

These movements, without any major definable leadership utilized social networking yo organize and ammass the numbers of followers they have now, and the escalation of activites.

Garvey's apporach was not protest but instead a push for economic self sufficiency, buoyed by Pan African trade and educational and skills reciprocity.

Malcolm's approach was not protest but like Garvey an emphasis on Black Nationalism and living and prospering as a Nation within nation, also Pan Africanism

Fannie Lou Hamer's approach was not protest but the organization of grassroots political agendas and a Black political agenda to be put forth to any candidate as a demand in exchange for our votes.

Therefore one would wonder in lieu of the observation of Social Networks to reach millions for
real action;
what would these three great Black leaders, have done with this technology if they had it back then

and where would we be today if they were able to use such modalities to unify and uplift the Black community both nationally and globally
