My black sister,
how I have wronged thee!
I inflicted pain on you,
to temporarily empower me.
Please, please forgive me,
for now I can see
past the jealousy that once blinded me.
I took from you what I thought was gold.
To find out he was rusty and old.
I was a fool, and to foolish to see.
T be with him would destroy everything good in me.
Then stepped in the law of reciprocity
For what he did to you,
he also did to me.
This my formal apology to thee!
