Black Poetry : Message From the Less Fortunate

The next time you're balancing your
budget book bitching bout bills,
Or know you got talent but these labels
won't issue no deals,
Or you mad at that mechanic for fixing
your wheels,
Or it feels like you can't function
without prescription pills,
Or you flipping cause your momma won't
watch your baby so you can go club,
Or they do you like a scrub when you try to buy love,
Or how it hurt when your job stop you from a profit,
Or how you hate how that hooker got you for your wallet,
Or whatever the case,
Remember it's somebody that's dying to be in your place.
Somebody sitting waiting for life to give 'em a break.
So they wait.
All they want is to fill 'em a plate.
And they wait.
And they willing to wait as long as it take.
So they wait.
The less fortunate need an escape.
So they wait.
