Maybe AfroAmerican men aren't reading much but if you hang out in the same book stores I do you'll see tons of sistaz reading.
From the ages of 12 to 60, hundreds of sistaz can be found in the fiction section piled up laughing and sharing notes on all these fiction novels the depict every Black man as either criminal, immoral or both.
Mostly by Black authors like Zane, Terry McMillian, Omar Tyreek and others..
Most of the Black women are professional and successful but there are almost no decent Black men in the plots and if they aren't cheating dogs then they're gay and downlow.
It just feeds into the basic emotions and desires of our sistaz and turns them further and further against men not only helping to keep the Black family destroyed but damaging the already fragile relationship between Black man and women.
Then you have all these daytime talk-shows and Divorce Court shows further showing our people....especially Black men...in a negative light.
I don't know where they find the characters to participate in these programs because most of them are loud, ignorant, and nearly all the men are on for cheating and lying.
This is sho'nuff brainwashing and programing.
The sad thing about it is even older Black men and women in thier 50s and 60s who should know better seem to enjoy this crap.
