I think he should hang em' up. Achilles injuries are already tough to come back from, and with this injury on top of it, it is not looking good. This year, they wont have a legitimate chance in the deep west to compete, and his big contract makes it hard to get help for him these next two years. He should just complete his legacy by retiring now instead of coming back and giving us the dreaded "end of career" averages.
