Please don't misunderstand me. I think that choosing to live that lifestyle is a brave but in my opinion, extreme measure to take. My intention was to show that it isn't necessary to go to that extreme in order to lessen or eliminate the impact of societal burdens.
But I must disagree with your last statement... pure true happiness cannot be bought with materialistic things. it's true... there is always a "price" to be paid for happiness but that price has no monetary value.
