Black Poetry : goodbye to a sex partner

softness
mellowness
relaxtion, no stress
no putting on airs
no worrying about every flaw
in my physical
my mental
is at peace

and then you get me started
i can't blame you entirely
i like getting started
with the visuals
the fantasy's
the imagry of our sex
the laughter
the nastiness
the booking a date
let's stay out late

the sex is phenomenal
awesome and transcending
a level of nastiness
unrivaled
your beauty mixed with
my maturity
mixed with our vibing
makes for a delightful combo

but i am leaning more towards
the mellow
these days
the peace
the relaxation
of no james bond tactics
of meeting your married self
and my married self

can i so easily put this thing on the shelf
and not miss it
just by waking up one morning and deciding
to stop
because a robin landed on my deck
because my man and i haven't been bickering
because sometimes there's more to life
than hot sex
orgasms
and the exchange of fluids

there's being faithful
there's being content
there's letting go
of that type of sin
hope you understand...
that this is goodbye
