Here’s Why Black Pastors Bailed on Trump’s Press Conference


There was confusion over whether the ministers attending would be endorsing Trump and even over whether the press would be allowed in what had been billed as a press event. Then there was an added pressure from other ministers who took issue with the 100 black ministers endorsing Trump. In the end, the Republican nominee for president, who wants to run this country, seems to have had trouble organizing a press conference.

Appearing on “Morning Joe”, Trump explained what he believes led to the cancellation of his press conference.
