Black People : Am I Being Too Hard on Van Jones?

Why oh why is Van Jones always crying in front of white people? I'm listening to what he is saying and it makes me angry. Not exactly sure why he would do this. Sends a bad signal to the wrong people and encourages them to keep going. Should he stop doing that or does it serve some purpose I might not be seeing?
