Black Spirituality Religion : A few facts about Angels

You are mythologizing Angels through the eyes of mystics and ignorant Europeans...

Though the word has powerful implications and other complex meanings...all the term implies is, "messenger".

No halos... No wings...
Salaam, Bro. Sun Ship. You are absolutely correct. In astrological parlance, an aspect is the relative angle between two heavenly bodies. These aspects are held to influence human affairs. For example, if an astrologer creates a natal chart showing the apparent positions of the heavenly bodies at the time of a person's birth, and the apparent angle between the Sun and the Moon is 90°, the chart is said to have the aspect "Sun square Moon." Certain aspects were either benefic or malefic, depending on the angle of the aspect.

The word "angel" originated from the Latin "angelus," and is derived from the Greek "angelos," meaning “messenger,” as you so eloquently elucidated. The Hebrew word for "angel" is "mal'ach," also meaning "messenger." (The planetary aspects bore messages...)

The ancient African priest-astrologers knew that the angles the celestial bodies make to each other in the Heavens cause effects and influences. The European priesthood of the Middle Ages - wishing to control the ignorant masses - personified the influences of planetary aspects and transposed the letters of the word “angle” to “angel,” and upon this deliberate act of mistransliteration all the stupendous frauds of ecclesiasticism were built...

To coincide with this info, the concept of Angels as it relates to the Judeo-Christian pantheon also correlates to the various other spiritual systems in the Afro-Asiatic region:

Kemetic Neteru
Sumerian Anunaqi'
Hindu Dharma

Etc......

These concepts are one and the same, and can be verified by the positions that each "angel" plays in its corresponding system, in comparison to each of the other systems.

7. Angels are sexless. This is evident from the fact that they neither marry nor are given in marriage (Matt. 22:30), and from the fact that there is no procreation among them. However, angels are always represented in the form of a man whenever their appearance is described. Contrary to the imaginations of artists, angels are never represented as females in Scripture.

I'm not so certain they are sexless. Though they are not men and women, and don't marry, they may still have gender. They seem to be all masculine or male, thus, when they appear to us, they take the form of men instead of women, since women are feminine.

I do understand, however, how angels have been made to be one way when they are another. People imagine them in their own manner instead of how they have been described to us in the Holy doctrine. It's wise to take the words from the Scriptures to heart, and not place our own assumptions within it. For that leads to a lot of misunderstanding and untruths being spread about.

If people would take the Word of the Father to heart, following His Way in true faith for the sacrifice made for us by His Son, for all of our iniquities so that we could have salvation, I do believe the problem would be solved for those lost in confusion. And if they would believe and trust in the Most High, and His works as well as the works and Resurrection of His Son who He sent for us out of compassion and love, then wisdom wouldn't flee from them, but be by their side as the Father and the Son is always to the faithful. :)

My goodness. Don't you know who is in heaven? We are. We are persons of spirit. Our bodies of spirit are very refined in a manner that we can be seen if we choose, if we have not yet obtained a physical body. Our earthly bodies look like our spirit bodies. We as spirit children look like our Father in Heaven and we also take on a family appearance of our father here. We are male and female children there and come down to be born in physical bodies male and female here".

Have you not read we, His sons and daughter's will, if worthy, inherit a robe and crown, Kings and Queens? ...male and female. There will not be any portion of our body that we will be without, even as resurrected perfect and whole. If we are married here we will be married there, as family is very important in heaven. Now you can see why the Lord is not for the sin that separates families and marriages, no cheating, no sex outside of marriage as it creates jeopardy to one or both of the couple. No marriage, no continuation of the couple in heaven. Those who can not help their circumstance through health or betrayal from a spouse, may marry again or be blessed with a fulness of a spouse if one could not be obtained now, during the Millennium of Peace when Christ returns. We can also commit to the LORD all repentant and continue forward for a better reward in family. If one doesn't repent and marry here with a true heart, and there is no marriage done in heaven; then, you see that you are alone for eternity. It is a physical commitment done on earth.

The God of the spirits of all flesh. Numbers 16: 22 "For we are also his offspring." Acts 17: 28 -29 "Shall we not rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?" Hebrews 12: 9.
