replacing white/nonblack bankers with black ones will work only to the extent that those black bankers are working towards empowering and not exploiting
Why guess what does our history from Black Wall street, The Harlem renaissance to the so called end of discrimination laws in the 60s?
what does the record say?
if they have been predatory then they should be run out of business but if they have been helping Black folks who have been snubbed by white banks, so they could purchase homes and set up small busineses with Black assistance, why change it?
What really is the case?
because as you and I look at what has been happening to those we knew who have fallen into poverty and those to whom poverty is getting worse, some creative work must take place ato find a solution and as stated by any means necessary.
No one has all the answers that is why brainstorming on a common problem, the economic fate of the Black community, and the fallacy of the solvency of white banks, to find a collective solution is important.
As the question goes, how much business do we really do with our own community and our own people?
Our food?
Our clothing?
Our utilities?
Our shelter?
How much of our dollars go outside of the community and how much stays in?
