It’s been…a year
Been over two million tears
And so many fears…
That came back to haunt
As I failingly put on a front
To mask the emotions
To cover my oceans…
…of grief
As I soured high into you
And you molded into me

It’s been a …..year….today

And the phone has yet to ring…..
I remember as my heart sang
And wailed as the
Throne of our love fell
And you threw me into hell
Not giving me a lifeboat
So I thought it was a joke
Til I loved you so hard
That my heart simply …broke

It’s been a year…today

And yes, I am over it
I think I have covered it
And put it
Back in my mind
The days when you loved my behind
Caressed my chin , kissed my neck
Had me feening, I was at your beck
I made naïve *** plans
Just maybe a thought…you could be my man

It’s been a ….year …today….

And true I still care about you
I lay down and think about you
How you will always be number one
Even though we are forever done
There are so many words….
But I can’t give you my time
So I guess this is ….goodbye
Forever this time……..

It’s…been a year…….

And I still remember….

But I’m letting you go
