I'm familiar with Boko Haram, but they have nothing to do with 38 of the 40 million blacks in America belonging to tribe African-American.

African Americans are not monolithic in order words and like Nigerians we have diametric views socially, culturally and economically.

Boko Haram are Fulani and they joined forces with the British in the hostile take over of the Niger Area now called Nigeria. They attacked Yoruba land and helped the British to establish Nigeria. The Fulani or Huasu are nomad tribesmen who became Muslim when Arabs went on Jihads against Africa. They don't read, learn to write or anything of education other than the Holy Quran. This isn't in accord with Prophet Muhammad PBUH who said, "One who seeks knowledge is on the path of Allah until he returns. ". Islam is about Peace and the Ooni of Ile Ife is a Muslim from what I've heard. Many Africans have Christianity and Islam as their religions but still practice their African traditions. But the thing with Boko Haram is they are nomads and as such never had any developed tradition or civilization.

Boko Haram is not a good group at all. I have one or two post I did on them a while back. I posted them for the same reason you have here, and that was to show that not all my "skin folk" are my "kin folk".

..and in many cases (if truth be told) some of them are known for turning their noses up at AA's, insulting and assaulting us and our culture, etc.....I've had my share of interactions with many of them over the years.

This is another topic I dare not get into at the moment.

Oh yes...you do come into contact with a lot of them...The few times I went to Harbor view hospital, I got nothing but stank attitudes from them.

Yep!

80% of my interactions with them (even in other states and particularly on the East Coast) have been stank.

Not to toot my own horn, but the truth is, I am one of the easiest people to get along with and be around. If you can't get along with me, then the truth is it is more than likely something stank going on with you.

I say that to say this: I've gone out of my way to be peaceful and kind in some situations and like you said, I've got nothing but stank.

I just can't see you being stank with anybody that shows you respect. But them, you can show them respect and they will act like you slapped day momma.

I say that to say this: I've gone out of my way to be peaceful and kind in some situations and like you said, I've got nothing but stank.

You see, we both have experience this from them....
