Your eyes so mesmerize me...
They take me in darkly
...
Promises of erotic pleasure and sensual delights
They call to me...first sweetly...cajoling
then slyly...wickedly...mocking...laughing
~ unwilling to see or perhaps
blinded to the hard glint of cruelty...glittering...
nearly unseen at the surface
...foreshadowing...

Wow Sister! Very touching piece. It is so true how just merely glancing into a persons eyes can spark "voyages" into a fantasy world. I love the way you hinted at the dangers lurking...so priceless.

near the wreckage of my own undoing
I see the temptation which lies behind them
and I am unable to turn back...
