I hate clarence thomas but he was correct in his dissent.
What they need to do is give life sentence for child sex offense
then it would be legal
Now they are saying we think your a threat and after your criminal sentence you will get a civil sentence.
What will happen is the courts will spring board off this case into other criminal violations.

if your a sex threat to society then murders, and people who harmed people in other ways will never get their freedom either. Pretty soon any criminal, all criminals will never be free thats where we are headed. Its dangerous because most crimes are done because people are poor.

They need to define what is 'sexually dangerous.' Not all people classified as 'sexual offenders' are dangerous, while others are just outright heinous.

Concerning the idea of this crossing over to non-sex offenders.......



The holding them in prison after time served would make more sense to me if prisons were really correctional facilites as they are called.

I don think that sitting in a cell is necessarily going to reform anyone.

I would have to see more of an attempt at reformation of criminals before reformation becomes the standard for release.
