cut out a man's heart or
maybe a few married couples hearts
drink the blood eat the heart

dark brown dried up blood
brown like
hmmmm...chocolate
chocolate
hearts

on feb 14th

any year

oxygenated blood
sanguine
red

hmmm....
would you celebrate that day to
profess "I love you?"

See / or soon you will

that Claudius the great
greek ruler
killed couples married without
his consent by
Valentine /
St. Valentine / who
in turned cut out Valentine's
heart / cooked and ate it

and now we buy brown
chocolate hearts to consume
to say

I LOVE YOU...

in blood colored oxygenated red

sanguine
ruddy red

love's history.

hmmm...
I wonder if hallmark will sell that card.
