This love thang.
Totally unpredictable
volatile, lethal, necessary
madness.
Sometimes sadness.
Plenty of joy and pain.
Found myself asking about
this "LOVE THANG!".

Even though my years are
long, I have loved long and
strong. I still cannot phathom
or even imagine what lies
at the root of this boom,boom
shake the room, heart thumpin
butterfly jumpin feelin that makes
you cry and sang.
Found myself asking about this
"Love Thang!"

Did you love me stronger when you
wore your hair longer, no grey mixed
in...no natty bush at your chin.
When time was our friend and not
our enemy, and I lusted you and you
lusted me, trusted me, can it be.
Found

LOVE THANG!

And now every thought of you , bad
memories too, cannot erase the look
on your face. No more tears, bitter
years, still feel love, "What were we
thinking of?" Got me feeling that swang.
Can we rearrange or even change , do
we even want things to stay the same?
Taxing my brain, still in refrain, night's
whisper your name.
Found myself asking
my-SELF?

Find myself re-evaluating alot during this transitional time in my life. It seems when you finally have that career and other things that you have been working for...the man either doesn't fit or
doesn't exist! Got me to thinking about this "Love Thang".
