The River of Life

The never-ending cycle of
“Generation after Generation”
As each new nation of
“Ball”
Relations
Invade the institution known as
John Q Public

You are precious descendants of
Kings and Queens

Heed these words, My grandchildren
Recognize the order of your
Destiny

Various manifestations of
Sinful people
Will try to bar your way

Don’t worry

You are Ball

Family and friends
Will pave your pathway
To righteousness
In His name
That you might believe in
Jehovah, Sovereign Lord of all creation
And His firstborn
Jesus Christ
My Savior and Redeemer
Of the universe

Let the house say…Amen.

As life continues on
You will experience
Ups
And
Downs
Trials
And
Tribulations
…Temptations
Of festive wrongdoings
While pursuing
Gratification of flesh
(and self)

Don’t let your heart be bound
By mentalities of
“Massa, please…”
Where selfish greed
Leads you down a path of
Woe
Look! See…
HE has prepared a table before thee

A table of wondrous joy
Where family and friends
Partake of your happiness
Daily

So let your head be
Filled with knowledge
…And blessed with foresight
To see endless possibilities

Make real the dream of
A better tomorrow
Strong…innocent
And happy
Laughing
At Mommie and Daddy
As you start your dance of
Life
Hoping for a chance meeting with
Mr. (or Ms) Righteousness
That he (or she) might approach you

“May I have this dance?”
One would ask
Of love and romance
“That we might create our own
Family and friends
And depend
One on the other
As another
Ball
Lay in wait on the horizon.”

Let there be
Illuminations
In the kingdom of
Ball-hood
That TRUTH
May be understood
Let the light shine
Brightly
On the heads of YOU
Forever

Your grandfather
