Standing on the river banks​

waving my feet cross the stilliness waters​

looking ova the river maze of life ​

serving my memories of my morrow​

only thing comes to mind is​

my yesteryears ​

dancing inside my head ​

half smile & salty tear colabs​

where did time go.​

sitting on the river bank
squishing wet earth
between my toes
smiling about yesterday
but remembering yesterday
is only the place to house my memories
but today is where i live and dream
walking towards my destiny
allowing it to bestow its promises of a beautiful tomorrow
time ticks on as we live in the now

i care for and about you, my friend
