Is the pain/hurt experienced from several bad relationships with the opposite sex that great that you would actually turn to someone of the same sex?

I've been hurt deeply by women that I've loved dearly, but I have NEVER thought of going to the same sex for intimate pleasure, etc. because of the small number of women who have hurt me.

If you would turn to the same sex for this purpose, could you share your reasons why?
