Dying to let freedom ring

The syncopated pitter-patter of the meek

Set to a cacophony of J. B.'s funky "HIT ME!"

Going upside heads of state oops:

Nail in the coffin ~ on the 1

Katrina, laid to rest

Not with 21 guns

But rather,

With a spiritual fortitude

Reserved for kings

Mourning our own...

Presiding over the sting of death

Jubilant over Black resilience

SAY IT LOUD
