How you likin the new gear?

i love the computer. i do not love the OS. if i do not "get" the OS soon, i may run windows on it.

I'm not a Mac fan, but I'd say that getting comfortable with Mac OS makes much more sense than using Doze. I mean it doesn't seem like you're a "niche" user, so you'll only be annoyed for like a few days. That beats being annoyed every time you boot. lol

What exactly is it that bugs you?

the mail app seems crude. i cannot center my photos. i cannot paste an addr into the email addr space.
when i copied over my photos it stripped off all my meta data.
it will not let me move film clips i downloaded into the imovie app.
i can't get itunes to record "what i hear".

the apple OS X snow leopard just seems crude.
apple wants you to do it yourself.
i feel if i have to program, i should get a paycheck.
