with the intel i7 quad core CPU and 8 GB RAM.
1 TB hard drive and a ATI Radeon HD 4850 video card.

my PC was falling apart after 8 years.

my order was emailed to shanghai china.
they will build my machine to spec.
then they put it on a boat to Alaska.
it enters the US there and is shipped to philadelphia.

    process takes 7-10 business days.

4 processors and 8 GB of RAM is a big step up from what I now have. it is a MAC PRO in a box.

this will be ten times the computer in less than half the space.

    Moore's law rules.

    idiots @ microsoft......

the brilliant people at microsoft have made their new OS incompatible with their old OS.
MS tells its old loyal customers that they must buy a new machine to run the new OS and the old peripherals will not work.
drivers are not downward compatible. they force me into the market place.

    fools!

if i am to be forced to buy a new machine why not buy a MAC?
the CPU, GPU, HDD and RAM are now the same in both the PC and the MAC.
i now just compare for who gives me the best price for the bundle of parts that i spec.

    apple wins.

yup!! that's the way they've done it since they intro'd xp! always gotta "!buy! !new!". seems like "new and improved means the customer gets screwed again".

apple would just love to have that comment for their "i switched" campaign. hope more folks wake up like you did!
