The love that you gave

There goes,
The love we each saved

Bottled up...
Just turned the page
Our great lovemaking
All in vain

Square One,
From whence it came

Two hearts,
Bet reneged

His makeover
Now the law of the land
Her groove back
Afield,
Playing the game

But...

Refunds,
So hearts beat again

Then here come,
The kids' boogeyman

And there go
Their Disneyland plans
Different strokes ~
The outcome the same
Another hope chest-heart
Broke...
