I agree. It's not the size of the brain... it's the content therein. Should a man brag that he is physically stronger than a woman? Should a woman brag that she possesses more soft skills than a man? Each gender has certain biologic qualities necessary for them to function. Each is unique in their own design. We complement one another.

Why can't we be spouses in love,or lovers in love,or Brotha's and sista's who love and respect each other?

the differences for a reason
everything can't be one and that's the problem nowadays
men trying to be women
women trying to be men
and everybody think everything is one
we should not be in competition with each other
we should be unified
we should respect each other more
instead of finding the hate
but that's what competition does

and like you said spicy we complement each other

the day is split in two: DAY & NIGHT but together they make the day
life is split in two: Male and Female and together we make life

now that our "mental" seems be exceeding the rate of out biological
we seem to be ahead of ourselves
and there is alot of "sexual retardation" out there if i may

like lack of communication, diseases and practicing safe sex
i know we need to practice safe sex
but it's not natural it's not in our natural state
sex should be more fluent than one having to worry about dying
i know i went off the subject at hand

i know stupid people men and women
and i know brilliant people men and women

like spicy said we complement each other
men are geared to think and do certain things
women are geared to think and do certain things

i think we should concentrate on doing those certain things better for each other
but there is no easy answer

Hmm I'd have to disagree with the single mom statement.
How they treat their men and their son's are entirely different.
And why are they frustrated?
They are frustrated because a numerous amount of our black men run from responsibility.
It's our responsibility as a family to encourage our men to seek higher levels of education.
I have friends who have son's and I've never heard them say N*igg aint smit around their sons.
She is raising three sons alone.
Intelligence not being recongnised in childhood is also the childs responsiblity.
They would have to want it just as much as you encourage it!

Of course, I dont really expect agreement here.

Again, I am speaking from MY experience, which includes what I have heard.

In fact, this was the MOST FUSTRATING part of being an educator, one of FEW Black MEN teaching in a predominantly BLACK school and community.

I tell you, parent conference night and open houses were nightmares. While you may not hear some of these women come straight out and say openly "N-s aint ***" it is the MENTALITY that is projected, and the school system which is dominated by women in the profession tends to reinforce this in the classroom.

In many instances if these young men were underperfoming in the classroom then I would become UPBRIADED and labeled the cause for their failure, while the FAIL CYCLE began much earlier, in most cases, within the dysfunctionality of the home environment.

As a middle school basketball coach I also experienced this first hand as on the court there is a lot of ISH-talking and one constant phrase is "Oh, N' you aint ish".

If the MAN is not in the home, this is coming from somewhere.
