Black People : Media pushing white men and black women relationships

Let me ask this:

Do images shape our reality?

....images shape everyone's reality. Why do African Americans engage and discuss so many conspiracy theories when we have so much that we can discuss and engage that will help our social / political situation in this country?

...the images that African American directors create (or that actors accept) in Hollywood out of the excuse that it employs our actors and that it sells, are just as damaging. What our kids watch, they imitate!

Let me ask this:

Do images shape our reality?
And as it pertains to the subject matter:
What reality does one think, is being shaped
in regards to seeing the "black woman white
man relationships' as they are played out on
t.v. and the big screen and the frequency with
which we see that pairing in comparison to
the black man/white woman pair?

Let me ask this:

Do images shape our reality?
Yes, and vice versa. The producers of motion pictures reside and work primarily in the states of New York and California where, I suspect, viewing interracial relationships (as well as same sex relationships) is quite common. What we see on TV and the movies probably reflects that reality--or more accurately, their reality.
