It aint gonna get any better any time soon and if some predictions are correct this 'climate change' went over the tipping point about 25 years ago putting it beyond anything we could do about it. Whatever the case though even if we stopped all carbon emissions and all the methane venting today......stopped as in zero, nada, nothing there is already x number of degrees rise in temps already baked into the cake (so to speak).
Buckle up it's gonna be a wild ride.

Yes please continue. I have read that many meteorologists are asked to remain silent about the growing impact of climate change. I also have read that 2100 a.d. isn't the accurate timeline the catastrophic results from the 2 degree rise of the earth's temperature the earth oceans are rapidly rising now and there are a few who are now saying we are headed for catastrophic weather related events in the middle of the 21st century. We are being lied to. Add to this is geo-engineering to off set dramatic results but only adding fuel to the fires
Yes, I believe geo-engineering is real.
Geo-engineering I laughed at until one night in September 2015. After what I witnessed, I don't laugh anymore.

We're going to have to do more than just unite, but I hear what you're saying. My thought is that because the extent to which damage is being done to the planet due to our lifestyles, it will impact ALL of us and we we can't control the behavior of others, just ourselves. How many of us recycle our waste?

Also, climate is not the only threat to us. These new super viruses are just as much a concern. They are leading to long term chronic illnesses and worse, death. Environmentally, storms, floods and wildfires are one thing. What concerns do we think people in Flint have in terms of the quality of their drinking water? Ask people living in the LA area what they think about the quality of their air. Man's carbon footprint is having a devastating impact the planet and it's just a matter of time before we destroy it.

Which is why I'm wondering why we are so anxious to find signs of water and life forms on other planets. Why do you think that is?

You posted some more food for thought. The poor quality of drinking water in many American cities and the new super viruses. I am going to read more about these two subjects. Yes man has left a horrible carbon footprint on the planet but have you ever noticed that when you attribute climate change to global industrialism. People go into denial and start talking about the natural cycle in earth's weather through the ages and it's not carbon emissions responsible for our current dire climate changes we are just entering a normal down cycle in the world's weather pattern.
This is a common belief among many whites.

Yes, I also wonder why do whites seek out life on other worlds when they can't stand people of color on earth!
It makes you wonder if they did find intelligent alien species, If they were a primitive race would they assault their native planet like Columbus assaulted the natives on the Caribbean islands and the North American continent.
As it is on earth with whites it will be the same in the space heavens they can't be trusted.

That 2 degree figure? Pffff. Forget that, when that figure was picked out (head scratch, when?) that was 1 1/2 degrees ago.
What I mean is we've already gotten 1 1/2 degrees toward that point.

It can not be imagined what or where the world is going to be in a very short time as the last time the earth saw this amount of co2 humans did not exist. We're talking millions of years ago. So who knows? It's anyones guess.

Today the co2 levels measure average well above 400ppm and projected to be at an average of 413ppm very soon (talking a few years/ 3 or 4)
The hardest thing to wrap ones mind around is that the spike is happening so fast, nano seconds in geological time, that nothing of this life as we know it can adapt quickly enough. Within geological time record these kinds of 'instant' events come with mass/ive extinctions.
