so in response to sista watz's "TEST" here i iz

sounds like a love song, or perfect poem

LIKE A HURRICANE

My words will blow like a hurricane
It will crash our minds and create a change
To open up the freedom that’s still restrained
And force out the hate that still remains

My words will only articulate truth and light
And lies and injustices, and the taking of rights
My pen will be my new voice, because I will write
Every minute, every hour, every day, every night

My words will represent, the things I can’t speak
It will take from the strong, and give to the weak
It will take from the powerful and give to the meek
It will share with the common and prove them unique

My words will separate things wrong from grand
And question all things we don't understand
It will call everyone and say, “Take my hand”
Prove there’s more to this life and make a stand

My words will be the microphone set for the poor
Reminding us that in order to make our hearts soar
We must care for each other, our well-being’s assured
And go back to the unity we all had before

My words will be the pillar of all we can be
It will open our goals and our dreams visually
It will open our hearts to our own humanity
And it will question our homage to God spiritually

My words will be the soldier of a peace campaign
It will bring about happiness and take away pain
It will reveal our “could be” sunshine and calm out the rain
My words will bring change like a hurricane​

I am very glad that you liked this poem Triniti, and decided to put it back up. I didnt even think of my poem as one that would be put back up, so i was very very surprised...thank you so much!!!!!

shaz, thank you for respondin, i wrote that poem as a way of empowering my words, sort of giving it an action.

Positive, so true, poetry can sometimes express what im thinking more than if i explained it any other way, thank you for responding
