She was the only girl who understood me.
To my heart, I gave her the key.
A beautiful story coming to a close.
Hidden love gone untold,
but I thought she knew.
Everyday, we wrote love letters back and forth.
Letting nature take it's course.
The older we got, the closer we grew.
A love understood only by a few.
She shaped and mold my soul
Both of us had a common goal,
but I thought she knew.
A love letter and five pieces of poetry.
We're no longer together, but my soul doesn't feel free.
She gives her love to a new Casanova.
I always see them walking shoulder to shoulder,
but I thought she knew.
I thought she knew I loved her.
I thought she knew I wanted to get back together.
I thought she knew she all I thought about.
I thought she knew,
but I guess she didn't know.
